I’ve edited books for academic and trade publishers for nearly a decade. Publishers find that I develop excellent working relationships with authors that allow me to handle much of the go-between work for them in turning manuscripts into finished products. I have proven skills in both substantive editing and copyediting. In addition, I have considerable experience and know-how in academic and other specialized writing areas, including extensive knowledge of the Chicago Manual of Style and MLA Handbook and familiarity with APA style and the AP Stylebook.
